DD schets #60 en meer

En het is al weer tijd voor de Dutch Dare schets challenge

Dit is de schets van Cynthia:

En dit is van ik er van gemaakt heb, ik ben creatief geweest met naald en draad, ook nav een de workshop Bright Ideas van Nicole Samuels die ik volg bij Studio Calico. Echt een aanrader die online workshops van SC, elke maand hebben ze weer wat anders, en deze kan je je helaas niet meer inschrijven. Maar heel veel leuke ideen aan de hand van video's en PDF's en daarnaast vaak nog een hoop unieke printables en snijbestanden erbij :) Omdat ik rewarded customer ben (meer dan een jaar abbonement op 1 van de kits), krijg ik ook nog eens 25% korting, altijd leuk toch? ;)

Maar OK de LO, foto's zijn van Camiel in zijn vorige schooljaar groep 3 de eerste een laatste dag. Het schooljaar daarvoor had ik ook zo'n LO gemaakt, dus nu leek mij het ook wel eluk weer te doen, je ziet toch hoe ze weer groeien in zo'n jaar.

Doen jullie weer mee met de schets challenge ? Volgende maand hebben we de 100ste dare, dat jubileum is natuurlijk reden voor een feestje, dus vergeet zeker niet om dan op de DD blog te kijken wat we voor leuks in petto hebben. :)

Verder heb ik een aantal kaartjes die ik gemaakt heb (gebeurd steeds vaker ;) )

Valentijnskaart, lekker simpel voor mijn doen. i love you is gesneden met de cameo, het is een file van SC, ik heb AC POW glitterpapier er voor gebruik, zo'n leuk spul en makkelijk te snijden met de cameo.

Voor mijn acherneefje Tygo die dus 1 werd, een oud papiertje van Sassafras wat  weer tegen kwam, de wiebeloogjes heb ik zelf toegevoegd. Hij probeerde gelijk de button met 1st (van de Hema geloof ik) er af te knabbelen, dat heb je met 1-jarige ;)

En deze voor een vriend van ons Rob die dus 50 werd. Aan de binnenkant tussen de sterpaperclip konden we mooi echt cadeau stoppen.

En dan ook nog even week 6 van PL plaatsen om te laten zien dat ik nog steeds op schema zit ;)

Valentijns kaartjes

En inderdaad de tweede blogpost van vandaag, ik loop een beetj achter met het bijwerken van mijn blog. En nu heb ik eindelijk eens wat tijd.

Ik doe mee met een Valentijnskaarten swap op het forum van de Scrap Angels. Dit blog is nieuw en gestart sinds de scrapotheek winkel er mee stopte en dus ook het forum. Erg gezellig want iedereen is zo'n beetje mee verhuisd en er zijn ook altijd leuke challenges te vinden.

Maar goed, ik heb dus een aantal Valentijns kaartjes gemaakt voor het eerst eigenlijk, en het was best leuk. :)

For this LO I was inspired by this post on the SC blog by Stephanie Dagan, love the effect of  the color blocking, so had to try it myself.
Picture is of Camiel when he was 4, what a difference 2,5 yrs make. Love his smile here with the little tooth. He already lost 7 tooth now and still waiting for 2 new ones to come back ;) And broke a piece of 1 of his new tooth (under) :(

I also made 2 cards, I for my cousin Wendy who gave birth to a little boy named Tygo.She hasn't received it yet and I don't know if she maybe read this, so I wait with posting.

Other card is for a boy of Camiel his school, who is moving to Aruba (talk about an adventure)

Cards

Cards are not my speciality butfor  special occasions I gladly make an exception.
Last week our friend Katja celebrated her 40th birthday, she had a great party. She celebrated it in a playground because most people they know have little kids, a clown performed and we had great weather,great food and drinks for the adults. Kids had a blast, what more do you want..

A week ago Lizze was born the daughter of Maaike and Michiel, first time I made a newborn card. Funny thing was Etienne handed me a postcard with the image of the little dress( came with a magazine: At Home) and mentioned that maybe it was something for the card. Great thinking :)

A page about the story of Etienne's eye, who got hit by a 'kaatsbal' on a weekend trip with his colleagues. Long story, but luckily his eye is almost back to normal, but for weeks he couldn't see normal.

Currently I'm busy with the Project 12 months sketches, I'm really behind, need to do june, july and august. And I need to make my LO for the DD sketch of next wednesday, so I need t get busy and get away from the PC.  ;)

dutch dare dans

First I want to congratulate my mother who is celebrating her 65th birthday today.
I made her this card:

This month it's my turn to make the posts on the dutch dare blog and also come up with the dare. I wanted to Make a one little word dare: and the word is dance.

This is my LO: dancing Ketelbinkie style
I used pictures of Tristan during the 'carnaval' week at daycare (Ketelbinkie), the could come dressed up, Tristan was of course in his Spiderman suit. I gave my camera to the teachers. So they made a couple of pics of Tristan with his little friends. Loved to see the dancing and jumping.
