feels like paradise

Made this LO for a challenge, which was use 3 different sizes pictures, tape and use the word 'paradise' in the title. I used  pictures of summer 2009 of us in Serignan Plage, France. Ahhh it was so nice there :) 

Weekend has started :) Always nice, the boys celebrated carnaval on school, both with dressed up as Spiderman (again ;)  )

More LO's

I have a few LO's I haven't showed before here. 

Picture I made during a date night last fall, time to do that again... I love the picture. Love the colors of this alphabet SC paper.

Picture from a day at Madurodam, already 2,5 years ago. I made a collage in Picasa, I love to use that for an event with lots of photo's, so easy.

 Made this LO a little word challenge of Scrapotheek, the word was NEED. There is already a new word I need to think about.
My boys loved their Spiderman outfit, even Camiel who never want to dress up. So much fun, they both wear it to school cq. daycare during carnaval celebration.

An older Lo I made for a pass on LO challenge at scrapotheek (something gets a LO to lift, passes het LO on to the next person, who lifts that LO and so on).

Dutch Dare sketch

Last sketch challenge voor the Dutch Dares was made by Ellemieke

I rotated the sketch 90 degrees and made it work for the 3 pictures I wanted to use.
This is the result.

I also did a LO for another blind scrap challenge at Scrapotheek.
This was the description (in dutch):

- er is gebruik gemaakt van slechts drie kleuren



- gebruik een bewerkt achtergrondvel


- gebruik een grote cirkel dessinpapier


- plaats een smalle strook dessin papier rechts over de cirkel


- plaat een brede korte strook en een klein vierkant, beide dessinpapier, aan de rechterkant, opleuken met een ronde embellie


- een grote vorm uit dessinpapier knippen en over cirkel en strook rechts plaatsen


- een kleine vorm uit dessinpapier knippen en over cirkel links plaatsen


- aan linkerkant achtergrondvel iets inscheuren en dessinpapiertje achter plaatsen, op leuken met een bloemetje of 2


- 2 horizontale foto's 9x13,onder elkaar maar verspringend, maar iets overlappend.....


- titel links plaatsen

I did not followed the directions exactly. But I also wanted to be happy with it ;)
I also messed up the background of the journaling, first I wanted to correct it, but I then I thought I needed to accept it ;)

I'm really behind with my december daily. But yesterday I printed out all the pictures until the 15th, now I have to put them in the album.

I had a really busy week, yesterday Camiel went to Piratenland with his friends for his birthday party, they had a blast.

Weekend

So weekend is almost over, and 1 extra hour due to the wintertime, always nice. Luckely the kids didn't wake up an hour earlier because yesterday we had a little Halloween celebrations, they went to bed a little later then normally. Today we had a visit from my parents they came back from france last week and will stay in the Netherland during the winter. Happy to have them back :) so were the kids.

Zand: for the last round of the dare/sketch challenge at SA.

Tristan 2,5 jr.
For the kwartaal challenge, task was to us package material. I use a package of Sassafras (with the lines), handy when you have lots to tell :)

To dig or not to dig:
Also for the kwartaal challenge, this was a lift. I got messy with paint, mist and ink :) The right half is a sassafras paper, great isn't it.

Ans again for the kwartaalchallenge (do I see a pattern ;), these challenges really keep me going)
Ergens in oktober: this was also a lift and we needed to use a dutch songtext by Blof. The original had autumnleaves all over, I decided to get my butterflypunches to work ;) I also was inspired by a LO of Kinsey Wilson .

SA dare/sketch nr3

Already de 3th dare/sketch challenge van het SA forum was live.
This was the sketch:

I choose to use the colors I just love this colorcombination, which shouts out black and white pictures.I decided to use pictures of me when I was pregnants by Tristan, almost 3 years ago, time sure flies. Etienne shoot this pics I glad we did it.

This is the result:

 

Today I have the day off because they have a studyday at daycare, so Tristan is home. I don't work on tuesday and wednesday which means, I don't have to work for 5 days at a row. :)

Yesterday was a lovely sunny day, we when swimming  in the morning (inside of course) so Camiel could practise a little for his swimminglessons. And in the afternoon in little stroll in the park in our neighbourhood  so I could make some pictures. 

Great material for scrapping ;)

Herfstwandeling

the dare I joined of scrappersanonimous forum in this post, consist of 4 dares. The 2nd is now live and I think I try to join them all.
This was the inspiration picture of the dare:

 I love these colors! and that top, so lovely!!


And this was the sketch:

I decided to  make I spread.
I printed my piuctures with a vintage affect. I had the perfect fall papers lying around from last year.

So I used fall pictures we made during a walk i the woods also last year. The flowers are from Prima, I just got them home, they are so nice. I cut up the doiley rubons, The leaves and phrases are also rubons. They trees are cut-out negatives from a diecut. I just some golden 'tulle' and pearles to finish them

Fun

I decided to join a challenge (dare/sketch) on scrappersanonimous forum . we got a color inspiration picture

  And a sketch:

We could use one of the 2 or both. I did both.

Fun
The colors were a real challenge, so I decided to do a patchwork of papers (1 of my favorite) and a lot of stichting (I actually ruined 3 needles! I'm hopeless, luckely I just bought new ones). I also missed around the circle. I think result is kind of fun :P
