Project 12 august

Finally started to work on project 12 again, this it was with august pictures. I still have to do june and july. Like the other LO's I made a spread with the sketch, used craft cardstock as a background, the SC month stamp, and the large tag for journaling and also the calender tag.

Project 12 *may*

Finally I finished my may LO, I dont know why but it wasn't easy this time :)
But I tried some new techniques, I handsewed the flowers (I loved them in the sketch, so I wanted to create them myself). I even did the french knot for the first time, fun!!

Project 12 april

Time to show my april spread for project 12.

Lots of nice weather already this month an we went on vacation to France, so I had lots of pictures to choose from.
 
I used again the sketch of Becky Fleck.

Project 12 march

Finally, my march LO for project 12 is ready. It took me a while, I already started it more then a week ago.
This is the sketch:

Again I used the kraft cardstock, the SC month stamps (with ZING pewter embossing powder) and a month calender.

Project 12 februari

Yes I decided to stay on top of it ;) and already finished my february spread.

This was the provided sketch by Becky Fleck:

I decided to use kraft cardstock as a background for all the LO's and I also have this large tags I bought at Papier Valise ( I love the store for little trinkets I like to add to my LO's), I want to use the tags for the journaling.
I rediscovered heat embossing, I used white this time. I love it because you can't get such a effect with white ink (at least not me).

Project 12

This year I really want to do Project 12, which means make an overview LO of each month.
At the end of the year you have a great overview of the whole year, wouldn't it be nice if I could only keep up. ;) How knows... 
Davinie Fiero hosts the challenge at Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine: see this post, every month they have a sketch you can follow by Becky Fleck, this is the january sketch .

And I already made my january LO with the sketch :)
Due to low light situations I don't have great pictures of the LO, but I have done several tries and now I give up, this will have to do..

I finally can get good use of my SC month stamps, love them! And the doileys are also SC stamps. I decided to make double pages and to use kraft cardstock as background every month.

ETA: I took new pictures, who are a bit better. ;)
