Vier jaar alweer, tijd vliegt echt.

Astrid

cute

For this LO I was inspired by this post on the SC blog by Stephanie Dagan, love the effect of  the color blocking, so had to try it myself.
Picture is of Camiel when he was 4, what a difference 2,5 yrs make. Love his smile here with the little tooth. He already lost 7 tooth now and still waiting for 2 new ones to come back ;) And broke a piece of 1 of his new tooth (under) :(
Let me look for a recent picture.
Yes, it's not a great picture but you can see it best here:

And now the LO (snif miss this cuteness...)

I also made 2 cards, I for my cousin Wendy who gave birth to a little boy named Tygo. She hasn't received it yet and I don't know if she maybe read this, so I wait with posting.

Other card is for a boy of Camiel his school, who is moving to Aruba (talk about an adventure)

X-mas tradition + PL week 6

Made this LO last night, Picture is taken on christmasday  at my parents. The last years we made this selfportrait of all of us, so I becomes kind of a tradition. I already saw that I wrote the wrong year, will have to correct that.

And this is my week 6, I only made one page protector, because the week before were 3pp's and now I can start we a spread for next week.

Tristan fell on the ice last sunday during iceskating. He was bleeding heavily, we went to the hospital to check on him, if he had loose teeth or something wrong with his jaw. But that was all OK, only wounds on his nose, lip, chin and gum. Poor little boy.

LOts of walking this week, because I was to slippery to go by bike in the snow. I can't park my car at my my work, because I live too close by and the direct neighbourhood is all paid parking. Sometimes I go to school by car, bring Camiel then walk to the building of Tristan (Camiel's classroom is in a dependance) end then walk to work. I prefer to go by bike though ;)

Enjoy your sunday!!

Astrid

feels like paradise

Made this LO for a challenge, which was use 3 different sizes pictures, tape and use the word 'paradise' in the title. I used  pictures of summer 2009 of us in Serignan Plage, France. Ahhh it was so nice there :)

Weekend has started :) Always nice, the boys celebrated carnaval on school, both with dressed up as Spiderman (again ;)  )

Week 4:

And again this week a sleeping child  ;)  This time the little stinker sneaked out of his own bed ( while we were still downstairs), got a mug with a birthday trait of he got that day of the cupboard, and had had enjoyed most of the candy that were in there.
Also the boys went for a haircut.

And now week 5, that was a busy week. TRistan his birthday, farewell to daycare Ketelbinkie, we went out to dinner to celbrate his 4th. His first schoolday, and we also got snow and went iceskating. I made a spread and a half page and used a A4 inserts with collages of his party and the iceskating.

Left page, I used the 'four' shaped sterretje that wason his cake on the weekcard.

 The inserts:

Still up to date with PL :) Still happy that I joined in!! The kids just  love to look in the book.

Dutch Dare kermis

Last weeks dare was all about the kermis (fair). I used a few pics of last years queensday. When I made the LO I thought it was kind of clean and a bit too simple, so I added some mist which got out of hand ;) Just like a kermis ;)

I also have another  LO that I didn't show here yet. About Tristan at almost four, what a thinker he is already ;)  Made it for a callenge t use old and newer pattern paper. The old paper is from Scenic Route, still love it actually.

Last monday Tristan turned 4, we celebrated it last saturday, he enjoyed it so much. The presents the cake, the kids, the playing in the snow.  More pictures in week 5 of my PL  (in the next post).

Astrid
