Project 12 march

Finally, my march LO for project 12 is ready. It took me a while, I already started it more then a week ago.
This is the sketch:

Again I used the kraft cardstock, the SC month stamps (with ZING pewter embossing powder) and a month calender.

Dutch Dare: Disney

The new Dutch Dare is live: scrap about a Disney figure. I have no special Disney favorite, but both my boys love Cars. Like in Cars schoolbagpack, lunchbox, cup, shirt with print and of course the little cars themselves. Tristan also had his Cars underwear he like to point about by pulling up his shirt and he says:       'Dat is toch Cars(t), mama?' ;)  Is that Cars(t) mommy?  He trows in a extra T (like a real boy from Rotterdam ;)  )

Take a look at the what the other girls made and join us in the fun, scrap about your favorite Disney figure. Each month we have a prize you can win (photo of this month's prize will be shown with the sketch challenge of this month), next to that  you can also be our guestdesigner for following month. So what you're waiting for?

Astrid

More LO's

I have a few LO's I haven't showed before here.

Picture I made during a date night last fall, time to do that again... I love the picture. Love the colors of this alphabet SC paper.

Picture from a day at Madurodam, already 2,5 years ago. I made a collage in Picasa, I love to use that for an event with lots of photo's, so easy.

Made this LO a little word challenge of Scrapotheek, the word was NEED. There is already a new word I need to think about.
My boys loved their Spiderman outfit, even Camiel who never want to dress up. So much fun, they both wear it to school cq. daycare during carnaval celebration.

An older Lo I made for a pass on LO challenge at scrapotheek (something gets a LO to lift, passes het LO on to the next person, who lifts that LO and so on).

Thanks for looking again :)  and feel free to leave a comment :)

Still trying to document some facts about the boys every half year. This is Tristan his 3 year LO (I still have to do Camiel's 6 year...)

This is the result:

Today we had the most wonderful springday, we ate lunch on a teras and our diner in our garden, love when we can do that. Tomorrow the we will have rain again, they say  :(  I hope not for long.

dutch dare sketch #37

It has been a while, I have been busy with a lot things, not much scrapping and blogging.
Two weeks ago we had a new sketch challenge at Dutch Dares and I haven't even show it here, shame ;)

Still 1 of my fave pictures of the 2 boys when Tristan was just born :)

I want to show 2 LO's more I made a while ago, but blogger don't want me to add more pictures :(
So that have to wait till later.

Project 12 februari

Yes I decided to stay on top of it ;) and already finished my february spread.

This was the provided sketch by Becky Fleck:

I decided to use kraft cardstock as a background for all the LO's and I also have this large tags I bought at Papier Valise ( I love the store for little trinkets I like to add to my LO's), I want to use the tags for the journaling.
I rediscovered heat embossing, I used white this time. I love it because you can't get such a effect with white ink (at least not me).

Dutch Dare Wat schaft de pot?

New Dutch dare: Wat schaft de pot (something like what's for dinner?).
In oktober 2008 I joined a project by Ali Edwards 1 week in your life. I made a lots of picture during one week. I never completed the project (still a shame), but I have collected all the foodpictures I made and used it for this dare. I printed them on small format, but what to do then? The forum of Scrapotheek came to the rescue, Monique posted a workshop (originally for the kwartaalchallenge which I don't follow this quarter) of a special minialbum. So I started to work on that which was not easy for me because I screwed up a few time, but with a bit of tape I could repare it.

The inside with tags in it:

 Backside of the tags:

This month Marsha donated a fabulous RAK which you can win if you join this dare or the sketch of this month. So come on and join us it's really worth it!!

I also made 2 card last week (I only do that for special occasions ;)

For Petra who celebrated her birthday last week.
 And the inside

And sunday my sister in law Edith celebrated her 50th birthday. After I took the picture I addes a little punched butterfly to the lace...

Last weekend we were in Lunteren together with my 2 sisters in law and there family, we had a blast despite the bad weather. The kids so enjoined spending time with them.

Time to make the february LO for project 12, time flies... I already decided which pictures to use (the most difficult part I think) and printed them. Now the cutting and glueing part starts

Have a nice day.
