De boot

Some things came in between so the Dutch Dare is a later then normal. Now it's live and I can show you the LO =)
The dare was to scrap about a childhood memorie. I browsed trough my scanned pictures and decided that it had to be about the sailingboat my parents used to have when I was a child. So many memories there.

I was nice to scrap an old picture, maybe I'll do it again.

Fun

I decided to join a challenge (dare/sketch) on scrappersanonimous forum . we got a color inspiration picture

  And a sketch:

We could use one of the 2 or both. I did both.

Fun
The colors were a real challenge, so I decided to do a patchwork of papers (1 of my favorite) and a lot of stichting (I actually ruined 3 needles! I'm hopeless, luckely I just bought new ones). I also missed around the circle. I think result is kind of fun :P

Thanks for stopping by,

Mr.T

At Studio Calico they did a scrap a LO of your favorites challenge. I decided to join, it was hard to choose from my just 1 LO from my faves, so many to love there. I decided that it had to be 1 of Chelseavn, don't you just love her gallery. I lifted this one: WINTER

And this is what I made of it:

Mr.T
I misted a template from the last FLOW magazine to make the background. I really loved making this LO, so much fun.

Last week we bought a new bed for Camiel. Tristan still slept in his crib. So it was time to move over in Camiel's old toddlerbed. Last night was his first time sleeping in it. I thought he would come out, because he often stands in his crib and wants to get out. But he just stayed in bed and slept throught the night. I the morning he called MAMA and he wanted to get out himself but he waited till I was there. Curious how that will develop.

Here is a piece Camiel his new bed.

And here they are together in Tristan's 'new' bed. =0)

The latest Dutch Dare challenge has been resheduled to next wednesday because not everybody had finished their LO. I really like my LO for that challenge, go and look for it this wednesday at the DD blog .

ScrapStreetMagazine

2 posts in 1 day!! It's  because I just need to share: My first publication =) =)  It's in an online magazine ScrapStreetMagazine in the september issue. The call was patchwork perfect  and I had  just finished a perfect LO for the subject.  Take a look at the link where you can see the LO at the bottom of the page.

=)

Astrid

fast forward

I made this LO for a challenge on the Studio Calico blog, we had to use tiny pictures. I combined it with a big picture I already used before. But it's still one of my favorite :) 2,5 years flew by.

Today is the day for the new Dutch Dare challenge, I almost forgot but I managed to squeeze a LO out just this afternoon. Can't show it  because it's not live yet.

few more LO's

Here are the rest of the LO's I promised:

First & last of school: Picture from last schoolyear of Camiel He changed so much I think it is fun now to see this pictures together. (I made pictures frim the first day this year last week, but the are really horrible, maybe I need to make new ones). I decided to make a spread that has been a while, but I love the result actually, I did two 8,5X11 inch pages. I used th SC continental kit (+ addons).

Schoolreis: Pictures of Camiel going on his schooltrip to Avifauna. I used the SC Summer Camp kit. And addes some bits of pieces of other kits ( I never seem  keep it to 1 kit). I notice the red rhinestones I use on nearly every LO. ;)
And the last one.
He wants icecream: A 'simple' LO for a change (and again 8,5X11 inch).  I used mosly the SC Continental kit. The flascard was perfect for it. And again I used a paper umbrella ;)
