Dutch Dare sketch

Last sketch challenge voor the Dutch Dares was made by Ellemieke

I rotated the sketch 90 degrees and made it work for the 3 pictures I wanted to use.
This is the result.

I also did a LO for another blind scrap challenge at Scrapotheek.

- titel links plaatsen

I did not followed the directions exactly. But I also wanted to be happy with it ;)
I also messed up the background of the journaling, first I wanted to correct it, but I then I thought I needed to accept it ;)

I'm really behind with my december daily. But yesterday I printed out all the pictures until the 15th, now I have to put them in the album.

I had a really busy week, yesterday Camiel went to Piratenland with his friends for his birthday party, they had a blast.

Hieper de piep hoera!

Big congratulations to my big boy Etienne who's birthday is today and my biggest little boy Camiel  who's birthday was yesterday, he is 6 years already, his birth 6 years ago I remember it like it was last week. This was the invitation we sent for the part last saturday.

These weeks are really busy. Tomorrow we have the kidsparty for Camiel we go to Piratenland (indoor playground) in Gorinchem (hope the weather will be ok, no snow please!). And of course all the christmas celebrations. Thursday Camiel has christmasdiner on school in the evening.
I'm afraid I'm making my december daily in january, at least I have pictures :)

No scrapping things yet to show, this wednesday the new Dutch Dare sketch goes live and I managed to make a LO fot it during all the bussiness (proud of me ;) )

Wall project

Like I promised the pictures of my wall project of 3 cavasses.
I didn't at too much because i didn't want it to be too busy and I loved the background papers. I addedsome white paint behind the pictures. Other supplies: lace tape, frames, brads rhine stoines and currogated cardboard arrows.and stars. I connected them with iron wires. And that's it easy peasy :) And now it's hanging on our wall in the livingroom on the spot of other canvasses which weren't really up to date anymore (Tristan wasn't on it)

Thanks for looking,

Astrid

Dutch Dare: overvloed

Last Dutch Dare was about abundance during the holidays. I made this LO about Tristan his joy of unwrapping the gifts during presentsevening (Sinterklaas) last year. Saturday we will celebrate it again with the same friends, there will be a Sinterklaas who is coming to visit us. Looking forward to see the kids enjoy it :)

I combined it with the Kwartaalchallenge, prompt was to use paper of Jenni Bowlin (the digit paper).

I also made a card (again =) ) for an extra lift challenge of the kwartaal challenge (they keep us busy these girls ;)

I still have to show you the canvases i made but leave that till next time :)
And of course december has started so time to fill de DD, I only have it planned in my head, I hope tomorrow to actually start glueing things down. I am planning to print my pictures on matt coated paper, I also did that with the dutch dare picture of Tristan, I kind of like it.

And don't forget to check out what the other Dutch Dare girls made of it. I also like to welcome a new DT member: Johanna, go check her out!

Daily December

I was still thinking about wether I wanted to make a daily december album. Knowing that I still had a half finished album of 2008 lying around. But then the Kwartaalchallenge on Scrapotheek had an extra workshop to get some extra points. The workshop was to make a cardmap. Because I don't really make cards, I decided to use it for my daily december album, I just added some extra pages.

I used a lot of stuff from my stash which feels good ;) I also had these vintage number tags of Elle's Studios who were perfect for this album. The fromt page paper has flocked candeliers, just love it :)

Btw: you can click the pictures to see them bigger, because you don't really see the details this way.

The challenge was also to make 2 cards for some extra points, I had some nostalgic christmas prints (Katie Pertiet) and made these 2 matching cards.

I am planning to blog some more soon with scraps I haven't show yet. Last month was not a good blogmonth... But december is always such a busy month around here.

Yesterday we had some snow, I had to bike home after work through the snow, pick up Camiel from the BSO, he had to rode his own bike and together we picked up Tristan from daycare (like we always do if Etienne work late shifts). But I was glad to be home this time, warm and safe. Today was also a cold day, brrr and they promised us I will be even more colder at the end of the week and more snow also. I'm glad we all bought snowboots last week. Brrr, I'm not ready winter yet :(
Thanks for looking!

ETA: As Irene and Anja already mentioned (thanks), I forgot day 31 (too much pictures) but it's added now.
Hugs,
Astrid
